Associates degree in Legal Administration/related field or Paralegal Certification preferred. 1-2 years experience in legal administrative support role. Demonstrated advanced proficiency in word processing and data spreadsheets (Microsoft Word and Excel for Mac). Image-editing Software (Pixelmator/Canvas/Adobe Illustrator). Website editing skills. 10-Key by touch. Typing speed of 65-70 wpm. Transcription skill-set. Ability to work efficiently in a Mac/Apple Environment. Excellent editing and proofreading skills. Ability to efficiently perform internet research. Natural ability to organize and pay close attention to detail. Flexibility in work schedule due to project deadlines. Positive attitude, professional and well-groomed demeanor, a team player attitude, excellent communication skills, and the patience for tedious detailed work. Be punctual and reliable in both attendance and the efficient completion of assignments. Administrative background, along with superior grammar, punctuation and formatting skills. must be a team player, detail-oriented, motivated and possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high stress, deadline-oriented environment. Applicant must have a good, professional appearance and demeanor. Strong organizational skills are required along with the ability effectively multitask and communicate with supervising attorneys to efficiently prioritize high volume, high priority projects and efficiently meet client deadlines.
