Paralegal Duties: Under the supervision of an attorney in US Legal Operations organization work to prepare, review, analyze, negotiate a variety of contracts for the US procurement organization and marketing teams. Research and summarize a variety of laws, rules, regulations, case laws and secondary sources. Review press releases, marketing materials, websites, terms of use, privacy statements as assigned. Act as a subject matter expert on assigned policies and processes. Engage and provide business clients and attorneys information about policies and procedures and how to proceed to resolve presented issues. Develop and deliver training as needed. Be able to complete assigned tasks autonomously, act as a leader, possess keen problem solving abilities. Work collaboratively with team members to solve problems. Interview involving the review of an agreement, answering questions associated with the agreements and questions may include a very short drafting assignment.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Paralegal Certificate preferred. Knowledge of legal research involving laws, rules, regulations, case law and secondary sources. Knowledge of legal writing technique. Knowledge of pharmaceutical advertising or other processes in highly regulated industries. Substantive and documented expertise in contracting process, drafting templates, reviewing documents, preparing redlines and negotiating terms. Ability to draft and negotiate agreements.
