Legal Analyst Paralegal- ICG The candidate will assist in preparation of presentations to regulators by the legal department. Will prepare and update ICG legal personnel and legal vehicle organizational charts for significant legal vehicles. Assist in the preparation of various internal presentations on budgets, headcount, projects, trends to Senior Management. Paralegal will be expected to become familiar with (i) company's standard responses to standard questions, (ii) active litigation and regulatory matters at company, and (iii) resources within company that can provide answers to questions. Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly budgets and track and get approvals for travel and exception management. Prepare agendas for quarterly ICG legal management meetings, Swap dealer governing body meetings and CGMI Board of director meetings. Prepare minutes for Quarterly Swap Dealer Governing Body meeting and CGMI Board meetings. Draft officer’s certificates and powers of attorney as back up for corporate secretarial function for CGM companies. Answer procedural, policy and other questions from bankers, outside counsel, etc. F1234
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have B.A or B.S. from an accredited 4 year college or university. Previous transactional experience as a paralegal at a large or regional law firm a plus. Requires the ability to understand complex transactional issues. Requires a detail oriented person with the ability to juggle multiple matters simultaneously. Will be responsible for negotiating and explaining important legal and franchise issues directly with outside/opposing counsel or the banking team. Good interpersonal and communications skills are required.
