Attorney Human Resources Assistant Duties: Expense reports, budget, committee meeting scheduling and support, internal website maintenance, event and training support, and other general administrative duties. Miscellaneous administrative duties such as filing, creating labels, nametags, scanning and copying. Managing calendars for Diversity and Attorney Professional Development. Coordinating department meetings which may include scheduling, securing video conferencing, meals, meeting materials, etc. Provide administrative support for events and development programs (which may require lunch hour and evening overtime), ideal candidate can be flexible when working. Position will be trained on the Attorney Review Database (ARD) and will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the associate review data. Enter new associate hire data into the database. Assist in preparation of various associate reports for the review process. Create new associate review files as necessary. Coordination and Assistance with Associate Review meetings. Tracking practice group review meeting RSVPs and running RSVP reports as needed. Coordination of meeting materials including reports and power point presentations. Track and report on attorney attrition data. Track attorney mentoring expenses. Update department documents on a quarterly basis. Submit monthly expenses. Support the planning and implementation of local diversity events. Support the planning and implementation of firmwide development programs. Create and maintain tracking documents for attendance at training programs. Assist with CLE at internal programs. Analysis and reporting of diversity metrics. Contributions to client and external diversity surveys. Assistance with diversity programming, budgeting, sponsorships, events and awards. Scheduling and facilitation of committee meetings as necessary. Benchmarking and industry research. Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Firmwide Diversity team, including analysis and reporting for the Diversity Integration Task Force, Diversity Committee and Subcommittees.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Law firm experience is a plus. A high level of collaboration and the ability to work independently. Highly organized, have excellent proofing and communication (oral and written) skills; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; a very strong attention to detail; and a professional demeanor. Proficiency in Excel required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and offices to achieve results. Technical experience should include MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
