Legal Secretary/Receptionist Duties: Support and assist attorneys; assist clients. Screen and/or transfer calls; answer or refer inquiries. Maintain appointment calendar. Open and organize new client files; document management. Type, transcribe, and file. File court documents. Assist attorney in preparing for trials and court proceedings. Record billable time and bill clients.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: General PC proficiency; proficiency in Word, Word Perfect, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with time entry and billing; strong transcription and typing skills; organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task; must exhibit professionalism; strong grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and language skills; attention to detail and accuracy; familiarity with legal terminology and documents.
