Legal Assistant – Legal / Litigation Responsibilities: Will provide support to the litigation group and law department. Review, coordinate, and distribute service of process. In addition, review and distribute mail and notices, handling items as appropriate. Gather and organize information or data on assigned projects and reports, and present information in a professional manner. Monitor and retrieve court filings and pleadings. Duties also include general support to the Legal team.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: The candidate should be a team player with good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask effectively with strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also essential for this position. Computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Acrobat are required. Working knowledge and use of matter management database is also desired. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in paralegal studies or paralegal certificate. 2+ years of legal administration experience.
