Patent Agent The candidate will prepare patent applications to be filed with USPTO. Will prepare responses to USPTO communications including office actions and rejections. Analyze tech related to patent applications as applied to electrical and mechanical tech areas. Perform patentability analyses. Provide tech expertise and support for attorneys working on matters involving electrical and mechanical tech. Review state of art documents and assess inventiveness and strategy. Conduct tech searches related to legal issues. Communicate with clients and inventors regarding tech associated patent applications, clearance searches and litigation support. Analyze tech related to patent applications applied to electrical and mechanical tech areas, especially in oil and gas and communications tech areas. Should have Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related 5+ years as a Patent Agent. Must have limited recognition to practice before US Patent and Trade mark Office.
