Administrative Support Specialist, Legal Assistant The candidate will be integral in coordinating communications and interfacing with other support offices. Handle incident reporting, compliance, corporate real estate, employment law, contracts, state and federal regulations, and general legal questions and matters. Coordinate the itinerary of the Director and requires the ability to independently manage work load and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prepare correspondences, proposals, presentations and corporate documents as needed. Maintain and track statistics or other records as required. Coordinate communications, including taking calls, responding to email and interfacing with other support offices. Manage day to day operations of the office, including ordering supplies and processing mail. Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair with appropriate vendors. Schedule meetings, appointments and manage travel itineraries for the Director. Assist in preparing for office events, projects and programs. Print and distribute office resource materials on a regular basis to ensure office staff has current information. Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents. Bachelor's degree required. Paralegal certification strongly preferred. Experience working legal department/law firm required. Prior experience working in corporate, non-law firm environment a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft computer products including Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
