Legal Assistant- Corporate Tax The candidate will format and construct various pleadings, correspondence and other legal documents. Manage correspondence between attorney and clients. Organize and maintain physical and electronic files. Oversight of individual client preferences, client accounts, and requests. Maintain attorney calendar. Electronic fiiling with Federal and State Courts. Service of documents. Provide proactive and advanced legal support.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should preferably have Bachelor’s degree. Must have 2+ years of experience in a law firm. Corporate/Tax experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Power Point . Ability to meet required deadlines, multi-task, prioritize, organize, and work calmly under pressure. High attention to detail, proactive, and self-motivated. Ability to both follow instructions, and to think and work independently. Excellent public relations and telephone skills required.
