Administrative Assistant Ethics and Compliance Duties: Performs a broad range of administrative duties for the Ethics and Compliance department and acts on behalf of the department in written and verbal communications. Relieves the ECO of details so that role can perform the more important duties of that position. Helps in the management of the office. Coordinates a wide variety of assignments in a timely and professional manner. Provide assistance to the ECO to meet the needs of the organization. Answering phones. Greet visitors in person and by phone. Assist with the handling, deferral, or referral of issues according to policy and procedure and utilizing the established reporting lines; refer complaints to appropriate manager for follow-up and HNS are completed per policy timeline. Coordinate calendars to maximize efficiency and minimize scheduling conflicts. Provide administrative support for meetings including timely preparation of agendas and minutes. Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information. Prepare correspondence utilizing format appropriate for recipient. Make travel arrangements in concordance with travel policies. Prepare and submit check requests and other forms in concordance with policy. Provide assistance to Line Officers, directors and other staff as needed to meet the needs of patients and physicians. Create and edit Power Point presentations. Order all the essential office supplies for the Ethics and Compliance office. Handle concerns related to office work flow. Run reports and pull data as requested. Records Management for Administration and explore possibility for hospital wide . All other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 5 years of secretarial experience. Secretarial experience in a medical environment. Legal assistant or paralegal experience. Keyboarding skills of 60 WPM. Demonstrated proficiency with grammar, spelling and proofreading. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Access and Outlook. Knowledge of medical terminology.
