Public Relations, Senior Coordinator Duties : The candidate shall build relationships with key reporter contacts, including fielding media inquiries and contacting appropriate members of the firm for response. Draft and distribute briefing notes and press releases. Identify and pursue potential media opportunities for the firm with a particular focus on the U.S. offices, including selecting appropriate media outlets for key departments, practice groups, offices, and partners. Work as part of a collaborative team with our external PR agencies for the Americas. Build news feed from practices and offices to ensure key matters, people, and other activities are highlighted in the media. Liaise with marketing colleagues across all offices in the U.S., as well as with business development colleagues across many of our offices globally, particularly in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Africa, and Asia. Develop regular reporting on PR activity for practice area leads. Track and disseminate press clips for the Americas and update firm wide clips database. Provide meaningful content for firm LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media channels. All members of the firm are encouraged to participate in our Global Citizenship program.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements : The candidate shall have 5+ years of public relations experience preferred. Law firm experience preferred. PR agency and journalism background a plus. BA or BS in public relations, communications or related field is preferred. Master’s degree a plus.
