Licensing Legal Assistant The candidate will ensure compliance with state licensing and other state and federal regulatory requirements, along with corporate policies and procedures. Will complete new license applications, process request for payment of fees, and assemble supporting documentation, finger print cards, and financial information. Responsible for renewal of all business, mortgage, servicing, and collection license applications and annual reports to state and federal regulators. Ensure compliance with licensing through monitoring regulatory developments and individual loan officer continuing education. Maintain a licensing list and monthly regulatory report.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have HS Diploma or equivalent. Should have 3+ years of experience. Experience with National Mortgage Licensing Systems and Registry (NMLS) essential. Experience with mortgage company licensing or other experience in a financial institution or government regulator a plus. Proficiency in a Windows environment, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint needed.
