Legal Assistant The candidate will be handling of commercial and residential real estate transactions from inception to completion. Conducting and reviewing title searches. Reviewed attorneys’ comments which included edit, redline, compare and merge and assembled all real estate legal documents for execution by all parties. Coordinate due diligence for a variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, borrowing, leasing. Coordinate and oversee the closing and post-closing process for various transactions, including commercial and residential real estate transactions. Should preferably have Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business from an accredited college or university. Must have 2+ years’ experience in large-scale and sophisticated residential real estate-related acquisitions, dispositions and development, with a preference for candidates with a mix of corporate/real estate law firm and in-house counsel experience. Experience representing urban mixed-use developers with an emphasis on California, and particularly South San Francisco transactions is a plus. Significant Proficiency MS Office computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point) is essential.
