Compliance Law and Litigation Specialist Duties: Provide support to the Company’s global compliance and litigation groups. Administer global training program, prepare tailored training materials, track participation, manage training projects and rollouts, manage records for internal investigations and ethics hotline processes, update global policies and manage global policies portal. Prepare agendas and maintain minutes of regular Compliance and Ethics Committee and international compliance legal network meetings. Prepare regular reports and presentations for the Audit Committee. Support the third-party agent compliance due diligence process globally, including management of the restricted party database vendor and implementing and assisting in reviewing database checks. Manage the global hotline vendor relationship. Provide litigation support as needed, including review of documents, organizing binders and materials in support of disputes, mediations, and litigation and assisting in discovery process. Manage global online training program, tracking completion by new employees and biennial attestation process. Follow up with employees and managers to ensure appropriate completion rates. Manage records of internal investigations and calls to the ethics hotline, including preparing regular reports for Audit Committee and other key stakeholders. Research, review and interpret compliance regulations and requirements under direction of compliance attorneys. Manage due diligence process for third party agents using online database and other information sources. Prepare agendas and other materials for regular meetings of the Compliance and Ethics Committee and other regular compliance network calls. Support litigation matters, including e-mail and document reviews, assistance in legal hold process, preparing materials and binders, and coordinating responses to subpoenas and other requests. Provide additional support as needed for compliance, litigation and legal department activities.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelors’ degree required; paralegal training certification is a plus. 2+ years' relevant paralegal or compliance experience. Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment. Must be able to research, review and analyze complex regulations. Must have strong communication and organizational skills. Strong writing and legal drafting skills. Ability to function on an independent basis, with moderate supervision. Ability to handle high volume of work and multi-task a variety of assignments, as well as recognize priorities and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team. Flexibility to work within an evolving and changing environment. Ability to function on an independent basis, with moderate supervision. Excellent computer skills a must (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, knowledge/experience setting up databases, tables, knowledge of redlining software).
