Legal Assistant, Patents The candidate will manage all matters relating to coordination and maintenance of our patent portfolio. Key responsibilities include assisting in coordination of US and foreign portfolio management including auditing and reporting to our clients, coordination of the preparation and filing of patent applications. Other duties may include coordinating execution of agreements, tracking a large volume of documents, maintaining status reports, performing general office tasks, and coordinating other legal and administrative matters with the business groups. Pursue projects to completion with minimum input or direction, take initiative in creating and improving work processes, and work effectively on a variety of simultaneously active matters. A Bachelor's degree, and/or Paralegal certificate, is preferred. 3+ plus years of experience as an intellectual property legal assistant in a law firm or corporate setting, or equivalent experience as a legal secretary at an intellectual property law firm required. Skilled in project management required. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines required. Strong: written and oral communication skills; analytical and computer skills required.
