Paralegal Assistant Duties: Will join a full-service litigation and business law firm with multiple locations across the United States, serving clients with domestic and international operations. Will work in the Financial Services & Capital Markets Unit. Will be assisting with a full range of Trust & Estate matters. This includes assisting with document preparation, general estate administration, and records/file maintenance. Under the guidance of T&E Paralegals and Attorneys, assist in the following Trust & Estate matters: ILIT administration, including promissory notes and Crummey notices. Revocable and irrevocable trust funding and administration. Preparation of federal gift and estate tax returns. Preparation of fiduciary income tax returns. Probate administration. Perform document management duties as needed, including: photocopying, filing, scanning and courier delivery services. Perform data entry of matter information into applicable software. Maintain familiarity with Trust & Estate concepts, practices and procedures. Expected to meet annual targeted billable hours of 1000. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year related paralegal experience; experience in trust & estate practice preferred. Ability to deliver superior service to all internal and external customers and communicate effectively. Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with clients and employees at all times; professional appearance required. Ability to work collaboratively within a team; ability and willingness to adapt to changing business demands. Ability to produce acceptable amount of work efficiently and accurately; ability to produce quality final work product.
