Litigation Paralegal The candidate reporting to the Manager, Litigation and Investigations, will be responsible for the management of various litigation and pre-litigation matters, which includes the following responsibilities: Work without extensive supervision and operate in a fast-paced, result-oriented and highly confidential environment; Work collaboratively with business units to investigate claims and lawsuits; Maintain litigation file and matter management; Review and assist in the preparation of affidavits, settlement agreements and responses to discovery; Prepare reports, internal memoranda and external correspondence; Efficiently and accurately analyze and summarize diverse and complex information within prescribed deadlines; Maintain focus on continuous process improvements and efficiencies. Must have litigation experience. Should be Technology savvy, including familiarity with Windows (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), and database programs. Bachelors Degree preferred. Must have 3-5 years paralegal or related legal experience. Prior consumer financial services industry a plus. Paralegal Certificate preferred.
