Paralegal/Legal Assistant Duties: Drafting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings and letters. Transcribing dictation. E-filing and preparing working copies for court. Interact with current and potential clients. Maintain legal files and records in the case management system. Overall case management and calendaring. Work with clients, opposing attorneys, and court staff, if required.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience preferably in real estate and business related legal transaction, plus general litigation matters.. Experience with computers and proficient in operation of Microsoft Outlook and Word, Pierce County LINX and ECF (District Court) systems. Experience operating facsimile and copy machine. Ability to prioritize and self-manage. Work with others in the office as a team. Strong writing and editing skills. Customer-service experience. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
