SSD Legal Assistant The candidate responsibilities Include: Speak with claimants regarding their SSD/SSDI application(s); Assist in preparation and submission of initial and recon applications; Obtain and review medical records; Mailing of welcome letters and new client packages; Scan mail to case management software; Calendar deadlines; Complete daily case management tasks. Must have positive communication with Clients, SSD, ODAR and Healthcare Professionals. Should have experience and passion for helping SSD claimants obtain their benefits. Must have 1-year of Law Firm or Legal Assistant experience. Must be proficient in MS Word, and Outlook. Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus. Trial Works case management a plus.
