Paralegal The candidate will provide direct support to attorneys by gathering the appropriate information associated with a case. Carry out the initial analysis before legal documentations are prepared. Execute the process of outlining and verifying legal records and keeping track of data, transcripts and files. Assist attorneys with preparation for hearings, depositions and trials. Perform legal research and analyze cases. Analyze and organize information to produce reports. Provide administrative support for attorneys in court and at the offices. Correspond as needed. File pleadings in response to applicants’ claims filed. Prepare correspondence to clients regarding status and updates of active claims. Develop/recommend case strategy. Develop a plan of action. Assist with settlement negotiations. Administrative duties as they relate to the practice of law. Must have associate degree in paralegal studies. Should have certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) or the American Alliance Certified Paralegal (AACP) credential offered by the American Alliance of Paralegals, Inc.
