Paralegal The candidate daily responsibilities will include: Perform legal research. Identify relevant judicial decisions, statutes, legal articles, codes and other pertinent material. Work with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions, and other case filings. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence briefs and appendices. Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence. Check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy. Create and maintain a case management database. Prepare written reports. Maintain law library.Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.). Perform other similar or related duties as assigned. Should have 3-5 years experience to assist and provide a range of legal support and administration to attorneys and other legal professionals. An Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies is required (Bachelor's Degree is preferred). Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal certification program is needed. Industry recognized certification from organizations such as NALA or AACP is needed. Should have strong computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal database software.
