Litigation Paralegal Duties: Performs a variety of duties including discovery and document management, Internet and investigative research, deposition and trial preparation. Drafting of documents for attorneys to whom assigned according to established policies and procedures. Manage, review and process discovery and other case files, utilizing Adobe Acrobat to Bates number and redact documents. Work closely with litigation support department to manage and process electronic discovery in larger cases. Manage client data collections. Prepare privilege logs. Prepare and post monthly status reports to client matter management database. Monitor and follow up on project deadlines. Direct communications with clients. Internet or other investigative research of facts. Assist with retainer of and work with expert witnesses. Prepare exhibits, and manage and organize documents in preparation for depositions and trial. Collect and manage medical records. Occasionally draft discovery and other pleadings, and deposition summaries. Perform administrative tasks such as preparation of subfiles and binders. Occasional presentation of exhibits at hearings and trials. Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma and 2+ years of experience working in one of the following areas: insurance defense, products liability, professional liability, auto negligence, personal injury or general liability litigation. Experience working in litigation, including products liability, professional liability, construction, business and other general litigation matters. Advanced knowledge of Relativity or web based electronic discovery management databases, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and other electronic software. Experience with case file and discovery management. Experience using PACER, and Westlaw or LexisNexis. Familiarity with matter management databases such as Legal Tracker. Experience working with medical records. Experience performing internet and other investigative research of facts. Trial experience, including use of trial presentation software such as Sanction.
