ProfileLegal Administrative Assistant The candidate will document production and editing of file pleadings (including e-files). Draft, proofread and edit legal documents for accurate spelling and grammar, punctuation and formatting. Manage client intake process, timekeeping and billing. Administer multiple calendars, schedule meetings, prepare expense reimbursements and travel arrangements. Organize and manage client/case files. Efficient and thorough understanding of all necessary Firm software. Must have High school diploma from an accredited institution. Should preferably have 5+ years prior law firm experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word with an aptitude for quickly learning various other programs is required. Prior experience in litigation practices and procedures is needed. Knowledge of document management systems, opening and organizing new files, preparing correspondence, editing, preparation and filing of pleadings is essential. Knowledge of SharePoint is desired.
