ProfileContract Specialist/Legal Support Duties: Responsible for the oversight and management of all employment agreements for physicians, providers and other agreements related to clinics, preceptor ships, and collaborative contracts. Communicate with Management and staff on requested information and proper documentation regarding contracts and expedite the review and execution of contracts. Maintain comprehensive filing system and computer database for all contracts. Responsible for the document retention of all agreements and contracts. Update the CLM database and other shared files/storage locations with Asante Contracts/Legal. Manage the document control process for APP, including routing policies and procedures through approval channels, tracking and documenting the progress, and uploading documents to shared locations and communicating published final versions to leadership, team and clinics. Manage content on website. Head up the Recruitment and Onboarding Committee and be in charge of revision/documentation and publishing of policies and forms related to the Onboarding/Off boarding of physicians and providers.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Associate’s degree in a related field, or two-year related business or vocational school certification, or equivalent experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Paralegal certificate is also preferred. 2-3 years' experience as a legal secretary (or comparable position) is required. Experience must include preparation of simple-to-complex legal documents, general correspondence, briefs and/or contracts with minimal supervision. Knowledge of contracting language and legal terminology. Advanced ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access). Ability to learn and utilize new database-type software program. Exceptional customer service skills, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality appropriate for a large corporate environment. Ability to make decisions independently and in accordance with established policies. Ability to use initiative and judgment in carrying out tasks. Must be multi-tasked, detail oriented with good organizational and retention skills. Self-starter with minimal supervision. Documented ability to communicate articulately and comprehend written and verbal communications. Must be able to function efficiently in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to work professionally with department managers, physicians and staff.
