Litigation - International Arbitration

Litigation Paralegal – International Arbitration The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of complex case management including factual investigation, document preparation, discovery, trial/arbitration preparation and general support. Act as a liaison to Firm clients for the Partners and Associates. Support the Paralegal Manager with staffing requests for the International Arbitration Group. Assist Associates with filings in ICSID, NAI, and ICC arbitral institutions. Provide up-to-date information on jurisdiction filings, rules, and procedures. Manage time sensitive requests regarding active matters. Contact and maintain relationships with outside vendors for translations, document repositories, databases and document reproduction. Responsible for overall case file maintenance, including indexing, and filing case materials. Assist with preparing panel submissions, productions, and other materials. Manage hard copy and electronic case documents, including managing electronic files and preparing binders. Perform substantive cite-checking and extensive Bluebooking of attorney written work product (client memoranda, panel submissions, ABA publications, and scholarly articles). Research current events and perform key work searches on Lexis and other news data bases. Develop expertise in use of document review tools, including the ability to prepare sets of documents to be produced and perform key-term searches over the data. Maintain and manage databases on Concordance and other applications as necessary. Liaise with office support staff to ensure efficacy of workflow.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree. Must have 5-7 years of complex litigation experience within an International Arbitration Practice Group. Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and efficient required. Demonstrated proficiency with Concordance, LexisNexis, Westlaw, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, ICSID, NAI, ICC and/or other similar case management, research and productivity tools.
