Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for speaking with clients, attorneys and witnesses. Work also entails scheduling, document creation and records management. Job duties include the organization and analysis of business, employment and medical records, scheduling, intakes, the preparation of letters, the drafting of discovery responses, document production, and exhibits for trial. Responsibilities also include some traditional secretarial / administrative assistant tasks such as office management, reception and telephone. Prior litigation experience is preferred. Should preferably have a college degree and/or 5+ years of experience working for a Maine trial attorney.
