AIS Client Onboarding, Senior Associate Responsibilities: Assists in facilitating the launch / implementation of new funds onto the AIS platforms. Facilitates the implementation of new funds onto the AIS platforms. This role has overall responsibility for leading fund launches through the Onboarding Project Lifecycle. Has ultimate accountability for the completion of the fund launch in accordance with business requirements, policies and procedures, and established deadlines. Plans, organizes and controls the launch process activities of cross-functional teams including Relationship Management, Compliance, Risk, Legal and the Business as related to the launch of new funds. Serve as central point of contact throughout the launch process. Develops and maintains an end-to-end project plan, ensuring all items are completed prior to launch. Facilitates the collection of all KYC/AML documentation and distributes as required. Ensures that all appropriate legal agreements are negotiated and executed prior to launch of the fund. Coordinates overall project communications, risks, and issues resolution. Coordinates project tracking and reporting through the designated Workflow Tool. Coordinates communication with applicable parties, Relationship Manager, and the Client concerning the project status and issues. Identifies and uses best practices for project management. Clearly communicates both verbally and in written format. Needs to be able to escalate when necessary to both the Relationship Manager and the Onboarding Team Manager. Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of problems across the organization and facilitates a collaborative solution.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications : Equivalent to a degree in Business, Accounting, Legal or related field or relevant Project Management or Paralegal Experience. 5+ years of financial services or legal experience within a financial institution or law practice. Proven client service experience (i.e. in a client facing role). Proven project management experience within financial services or legal/compliance. Proven track record in applying company internal controls and policies. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Ability to develop relationships within and outside of the organization. Strong problem resolution and analytical skills. Demonstrated negotiation, managerial and leadership skills. Demonstrated commitment, reliability and performance at the Manager level or equivalent.
