ProfileLegal Assistant IV The candidate will serve as liaison between Legal departments, businesses, geographies, function, employees, candidates and external organizations. Will demonstrates effective interpersonal skills in handling sensitive and confidential information and situations. Works independently, anticipating next steps, taking initiative, exercising discretion and sound judgment. Identify issues in documents, correspondence or telephone calls and uses problem solving techniques, tact and discretion in handling. Executes alternatives on own initiative or recommends a best alternative to Vice President or appropriate others. Responsible for department budget; inclusive of monitoring monthly cost center results and working with finance to coordinate changes. Develops partnerships with internal and key external candidates and organizations. An understanding of the organization and function is required to handle requests and provide comprehensive and timely response and service. Performs various administrative duties including research, travel arrangements (including international travel), meeting scheduling, candidate interviews, managing calendar, and expense reporting. Provide administrative support for meetings (audio conferences, video conferences, training sessions, etc.) Plans, prepares and coordinates special meetings including agendas, meeting materials, set up, action items, travel and catering. Draft correspondence, reports, and forms. Corrects grammar, errors, and formatting. Assist with the development, implementation and administration of projects and procedures, including presentations to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and other senior leaders. Act as an information resource on organizational policies and procedures. High school diploma or GED. Should have 10+ years of administrative and office-related experience at progressive levels. Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is advantageous. Experience making travel arrangements, including international travel is advantageous.
