Legal Assistant/Liability Department - Spanish Speaking Duties: Data entry, telephone calls to and from patients, attorneys, and insurance companies. Complete and send out attorney letters, patient letters, claims liens and/or application relevant to file work. Review new files for pertinent information. Prepare documents, including, but not limited to liens, settlements and PIP applications. Maintain and follow up on appointment logs. Request documentation from health service facilities, including, but not limited to, medical records, histories, certified bills, and payment verification. Enter notes, appointment logs, transaction codes, and transferring insurances into system. Search for valid addresses and phone numbers when necessary.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Spanish Speaking. Microsoft Office and Pulse Pro Billing software. Detail oriented. Dependable. Able to work independently. Professional telephone and business manners. Organized.
