Immigration Bilingual Paralegal The candidate will facilitate and aid clients in their pursuit of Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) status in the United States before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), including preparing and submitting the appropriate forms and documents supporting immigrant visas, applications for adjustment of status and consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, and employment authorization and advance parole applications. Interact and communicate with various U.S. consulates around the world, the National Visa Center (NVC), and the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) on behalf of clients in obtaining up-to-date information and resolving problems in pending cases. Arrange in-depth preparation of clients for interviews with USCIS in adjustment of status and U.S. consulates abroad in consular processing cases. Responsible for quickly identifying and processing mail and date-sensitive documents, as well responding to requests for further evidence (RFEs) and information. Responsible for date-critical filings with EOIR in deportation, removal, exclusion, and bond proceedings before both the Immigration Courts and Board of Immigration Appeals. Prepare affidavits with clients as necessary. Facilitate translation of documents for submission to the Government. 3+ years experience as paralegal required. Strong verbal communication (telephone) skills required. Competence in oral and written communication required. Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
