Legal Assistant The candidate will Create and edit drafts of documents (correspondence, memorandums, motions, orders, dismissals, discovery, pleadings and other legal documents). Will open, maintain and close client files. Maintain positive contact with client. Establish and maintain calendar and deadline reminder system(s) and attorney. Prepare daily time entries and submits in timely manner. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills is needed. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is essential. Experienced in Client Profiles is a plus. Should have typing speed of 60+ wpm. Strong computer skills in the use of MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel), and time entry software.
