Billing Coordinator The candidate will be responsible for printing and distributing pre-bills, making hours and value edits to all returned pre-bills, adding claim numbers and late entered time and costs, and preparing all electronic billing by verifying that all billing requirements are met and that submitted bills are accepted. Will help with investigating and resolving client deductions, tracking billing requirements for complex litigation clients and third party payees, and preparing and updating A/R spreadsheets for split billing invoices and payments.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have 3+ years in a legal or professional environment, be familiar with Aderant or similar law firm accounting software, have strong Excel skills including pivot tables, and have the ability to work independently as well as work with others within and outside the Finance Team with discretion and diplomacy. 2-3 years of legal experience (billing or paralegal with some billing/financial experience); insurance defense experience; e-Billing including appeals & deductions; experience with split-billing; experience with cost-sharing; write-offs. Soft-skills: excellent communication geared toward teamwork and problem solving. Technical skills: Proficient with Excel, including pivot tables and V-Lookups; Aderant a plus; E-Billing websites; E-Billing hub is a plus.
