Legal Assistant Responsibilities: Assist assigned attorneys with day to day administrative duties such as booking travel arrangements; Scheduling mediations and depositions, and maintaining accurate and up to date calendars; Assist assigned attorneys with all aspects of day to day case management including formatting and finalizing legal documents, submitting electronic filings, drafting correspondence, and calendaring pertinent dates.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate with some college coursework is preferred. Must have: 3-5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a litigation environment; Substantial experience working with electronic court filings including Florida Courts E-Filing and federal electronic filing; Experience with Worldox or similar document management system; Experience with Juris or similar timekeeping system; Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Professional appearance and demeanor; and. A positive and proactive attitude.
