Litigation - General (consumer)
Min 1 yrs required
Litigation Paralegal Duties: Assisting the Attorney with a high volume caseload and will work often in vendor related software. Draft Motions or Pleadings Liaise with clients through various systems like VendorScape, LPS. Oversight and responsibility of 200+ case files Research for process information while following procedure Communicate with attorneys, clients, third parties (such as homeowners) and outside counsel Assist attorneys with the new foreclosure avoidance mediation program Other duties as assigned from management.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Paralegal certification a plus. 1+ year office related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a busy mortgage or legal setting (financial, banking, mortgage, real estate, etc.). Previous experience working with attorneys preferred. Experience working with a high volume case load. High proficiency with computers and technology. Familiarity with file processing. Ability to maintain records accurately and prepare reports. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to self direct. Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively. Ability to multi task. Ability to manage time and workload with consistent interruption. Must be flexible and have well developed interpersonal skills. Job#: 360300
