Profile

Contract Manager Duties: Provide transactional related contract assistance for internal and external parties, including vendors. Prepare well written, accurate and precise emails, memos, and letters. Review and negotiate sales related NDAs and provide contract support to the sales proposals department for RFP submissions. Track document approval and signature process to ensure that agreements are in place when required and are properly executed in compliance with company policies. Ensure the return of fully executed contracts and related correspondence to external customers via facsimile, email or mail. Develop and maintain familiarity with all contract/legal-related files, in terms of both content and organization. Liaison between the legal and other internal departments and assist in ensuring the proper tracking of contractual obligations. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the proper filing and organization of contracts and agreements. Must exercise discretion and sound judgment and be capable of handling sensitive materials and maintaining confidentiality. Work with other members of the group to define, develop, implement, execute and maintain all facets of contract management including: automated tools, work flows, and the review and approval processes.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Paralegal certificate or equivalent. 4+ years working in legal/contracts environment. Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and organization skills with great attention to detail. Be comfortable working independently and taking initiative when appropriate in a fast paced environment while producing high quality work. Work well in a team environment, be comfortable sharing knowledge, and accepting input and direction from others. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Skilled in multi-tasking, prioritizing activities and meeting deadlines while working well with a broad range of people. Preferred: Experience working with commercial contracts – contract review, drafting and negotiating skills. Information technology industry experience preferred. Marketing review experience is a plus.
