Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate must have 5+ years of commercial real estate experience. Must have experience identifying and organizing documents for closings of real estate transactions, preparing initial checklists, researching possible forms of documents, and managing formatting for uniformity across all documents. Experience working with title companies and obtaining reports is required. Must have experience organizing files for the purchase, sale and mortgage loan financing of real property and preparation of closing binders and loan abstracts. Experience performing pre-closing and closing duties by contacting and communicating with title companies, surveyors, realtors, government agencies, etc. Is required. Must have experience assisting with transaction closings; monitoring and updating checklists, organizing documents and signature packets for execution, monitoring status of documentation and organizing final executed documents as received, reviewing documents for completeness, maintaining electronic record of final executed documents, organizing documents for closing transcripts, producing and transmitting closing transcripts. Must have experience adhering to deadlines, drafting and reviewing correspondence, preparing filings, maintaining calendars, preparing expense reports, etc. Paralegal Certificate/Degree preferred. Working knowledge of AIA documents a plus.
