Real Estate Paralegal Responsibilities: Due diligence relating to all aspects of real estate, including but not limited to review and analysis of service contracts, confidentiality agreements, loan documents, easements, leases, operating agreements, title and survey.. Preparing organizational charts, certificates of formation, applications for authority and other corporate filings, operating agreements and resolutions.. Effectively communicating directly with clients, contract parties and vendors for business and legal clarification. Assisting with having documents signed, notarizing documents and disseminating signed documents. Understanding and assisting clients with standard information. Managing and prioritizing contract requests and assessing requests to determine contract requirements. Notifies attorneys of pressing deadlines and issues. Preparation of checklists and documents for purchasing and conveying real estate. Reviewing and analyzing existing leases and preparing new leases using lease forms. Assisting with the management of case files and closings. Preparing demand letters and various correspondence. Reviewing documents to ensure accuracy of information and proper format, spelling and punctuation. Searching various databases to obtain information necessary in collection process. Performing various other administrative tasks as necessary.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. 3+ years of solid experience in a legal environment as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal. Experience in Real Estate Law is required. Experience reviewing leases, loan documents, service contracts, title commitments and surveys. Meticulous attention to detail. Fluency in Adobe and Microsoft Office software. Can-do attitude & high level of responsibility and responsiveness. Strong communication skills and great personality. Knowledge of legal terminology and processes. Strong research ability. Highly organized and productive. Ability to anticipate tasks in support of legal matters.
