Legal & Compliance Analyst Duties: Working independently to support and contribute to the implementation of TSV’s compliance programs. Will be charged with obtaining, organizing and analyzing due diligence documentation from various sources. Will use legal research tools to ensure compliance with Textron’s Global Anti-Corruption Compliance Policy. Will participate in projects that fall within the realm of legal and compliance processes. Will improve workflow and processes. Consistently demonstrate strong reasoning, analytical and sound decision-making skills. Interact effectively and positively with TSV lawyers, the Industrial Legal Department’s compliance manager, and other internal customers with respect to legal and compliance matters. Prepare material and supporting documents for approval by TSV lawyers and Textron Corporate. Prepare, maintain, and analyze compliance documentation as required by TSV lawyers.. Support the initiation, development, documentation, and maintenance of compliance policies, protocols and procedures. Identify opportunities for improvement in process flow and procedures. Prepare training material, lead training sessions and facilitate meetings. Generate and maintain reports from databases, on an ongoing basis and as requested. Act as a Liaison between the TSV and Industrial Segment Legal Departments and the TeamConnect Support staff. Maintains due diligence records. Maintains departmental files and records. Updates and maintains spreadsheets and databases. Oversee the payment of invoices and prepare reports. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Associate degree in related field required (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred). 3 - 5 years minimum work experience. Paralegal Certificate or equivalent preferred. Experience in Corporate Legal Department or a law firm; and/or prior business experience preferred. Proficient in MS Office suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Strong matter management system skills (Team Connect). Ability to perform in a rapidly changing multi-task environment Excellent legal research skills (Westlaw). Excellent project management and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment while managing an unpredictable workload (Learning on the fly). Experienced in recognizing and obtaining voice of the customer information and using it for improvements in products and services (Process Improvement). Ability to understand complex concepts with ease (Dealing with Ambiguity) .
