Legal Assistant Duties: Provide complete administrative support for the Atlanta Legal Department. Deals with highly confidential material. May also support other corporate functions as requested when other assistants are unavailable.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Four-year degree preferred. 5+ years experience in business, legal, secretarial role and related computer skills (or 8 – 10 years of directly related experience in a legal or business environment in lieu of degree) is required. Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access. Experience in and an understanding of legal process including litigation management is a plus. Knowledge of legal research, document management systems and database management is a plus. Ability to prioritize job responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Deal with sensitive and confidential information in a discrete, mature and responsible manner. Individual must be able to work independently with little supervision and must be self-motivated and have excellent time-management skills with the ability to self-manage the workload, with guidance as to priorities as needed. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to collaborate with others, and excellent communication skills.
