Profile

Litigation Paralegal Duties: Reports to the Managing Litigation Partner. Working with the Managing Litigation Partner on a high volume client portfolio as well as performing every day paralegal functions for the Litigation Department. Prepare and file (manual and electronic) all forms of civil pleadings. Establish and maintain heavy client contact. Drafting and finalization of letters/correspondence. Drafting pleadings under Managing Litigation Partner’s supervision. Case management and monitoring over high volume client portfolio. Assist attorneys with preparation of hearings and court proceedings.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Associates Degree/College degree Paralegal with capability to take on additional tasks as needed. Some legal background preferred. Prime candidate must be able to work independently and be able to multi task in a high volume office. Ability to be highly organized and assist in organizing others in the litigation department a must. Ability to work in a team environment Business is woman owned and run therefore candidate must have no objections to working in such an environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (Word most specifically)
