Communications Associate The candidate will write and manage law firm newsletters, website posts, announcements, advertisements, and social media content for both local and global audiences. Will help write lawyer biographies and brochures, and prepare proposals for new business and legal industry recognition. Assist in organizing law firm events locally and abroad. Organize and update law firm media archives. Assist senior partner in scheduling, writing internal and external communications to advance law firm mission and strategic objectives, coordinating new matters, and managing development information, materials and resources.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree preferably with major in marketing, communications or journalism. Must have 3+ years of communications experience. Law firm or other professional services experience preferred. Excellent writing, communication, organizational, and project management skills needed. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Should have knowledge of: design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, or Illustrator; MailChimp, HooteSuite (or comparable); and search engine optimization (SEO) keywords, light html coding.
