Legal Nurse Consultant Duties: Responsible for the review and analysis of medical, education, employment and military records and processing of records into high quality, technically accurate, client-based work products. Management of daily assignments and existing caseloads to meet deadlines. Professional communication with clients and peers.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and 4 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse in a hospital-based patient care setting. 2 years law firm or legal nurse consultant experience required or comparable experience and training, i.e. paralegal training, law firm experience, independent consultant, etc. Experience involving product liability and toxic torts a plus. Excellent communication skills, organizational ability and attention to detail. Strong computer skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
