Business Development Manager The candidate will prepare formal RFP’s, RFI’s and new business proposals. Will prepare client presentation materials for pitch meetings. Provide competitive intelligence research on prospective new clients, industry and market trends. Draft marketing materials including case-success summaries, practice and industry descriptions, event invites, advertising materials and other external print and website content. Collaborate with the Communications Manager to create opportunities for public relations, article placement and other attorney publications, as well as client alerts.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Marketing or Business a plus. Must have 5+ years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience in a legal or professional services marketing position. Sophisticated verbal and written communication skills plus exceptional interpersonal skills is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required. Occasional travel as required.
