IT Project Manager Information Technology The candidate will work with IT directors, c-level personnel and other senior managers to successfully implement Firm projects. Will function as a Business Analyst working with various administrative departments and practice groups to fully understand and articulate project requirements. Additional responsibilities include: developing and managing IT project plans and milestones and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements on key enterprise projects; identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities; managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope to ensure that projects are completed on-time and on-budget; performing detailed iterative requirement analysis, and document use cases; identifying and articulating project risks early and working to minimize the risks; reviewing deliverables prepared by team before passing on to stakeholders to make sure that the deliverables expectations are met; working with employees within various Firm departments to define clear, concise project requirements and ensuring successful project delivery; coordinating efforts for various IT groups on various projects; communicating regularly and informing the CIO about operational and project needs, issues, and challenges; and ensuring project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Qualification and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS: A four-year degree is required. PMP certification a plus. 5+ years of project management experience in a law firm or professional services environment. Microsoft certification a plus. Experience working with MS Office Suite including Visio, and SharePoint. Knowledge of MS Project, Smartsheet or other online PM tools. Experience working in Agile and Waterfall projects. Ability to multi-task with good organizational and time management capabilities. Strong and proven problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Strong documentation skills to create requirement documentation. Proven experience with running enterprise level technology projects . Understanding of project lifecycle and SDLC. Solid technical background with understanding in AD, SQL, Networking, and web technologies. Ability to lead project teams. Excellent people facing and customer service. Result-oriented, focused on achieving a successful completion of the project. Out-of-the-box thinker. Excellent organizational, oral/written communication and multitasking skills. Knowledge of how law firms operate desired.
