Title Examiner Responsibilities: Examine and verify titles. Examine chain of title to determine ownership and verify accuracy of legal description of property. Search real estate records. Process large volumes of title work to and from the Registry. Establish a strong follow-up system to ensure deadlines are not missed. Other administrative duties as required.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Previous title or mortgage servicing experience is required. Previous supervisory experience highly preferred . Independent, self-directed, organized, and diligent worker, able to work with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail. General understanding of real estate transactions for the issuance of title insurance policies and familiarity with real estate law. Good computer skills. Organizational skills and be able to multitask. Experience with Pacer is a plus.
