Paralegal Responsibilities: Uses word processing and document management software to prepare and revise, format and finalize a wide variety of documents, including correspondence, memoranda, and legal materials.​ Will be responsible for answering discovery, drafting pleadings, abstracting depositions, file maintenance and trial preparation, extensive client contact amongst other things.​ Performs conference calls, coordinates and schedules travel arrangements for attorneys and maintenance of calendars.​ Establishes and maintains paper and electronic files in compliance with current firm policies utilizing the Document Management System.​ Provides assistance to other Paralegals within assigned teams whenever necessary to meet Firm and client needs; organizes and prioritizes workload so as to most efficiently enable and facilitate team effort to accomplish Firm and client goals.​
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: The candidate must have 2+ years of experience as a paralegal. Must be comfortable Interacting with various departments around the office for possible legal support to assignments, including Accounting (check requests); General Services (mail, FedEx, UPS, messengers) Docketing/​ Calendar Court Services; etc. Should be professional, highly motivated, organized individual capable of functioning in a fast paced environment.​ Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as a team and under the direction of assigned attorneys.​
