Senior Paralegal The candidate provide paralegal support to assigned practice areas. Assist attorneys and other paralegals with assigned projects to meet client needs. Assist with management of litigation cases and/or large projects in practice area, including, utilizing e Discovery software, document organization, document retrieval, document production, maintaining document databases and other case files, preparing witness binders for depositions, preparing deposition exhibits, preparing trial exhibits and other duties for general trial preparation. Perform case/project management duties. Perform general research utilizing Westlaw, Pacer and the Internet; cite check and proof read court documents and/or legal memoranda; assist with the preparation of court and agency filings. May monitor judicial, congressional or executive branch activities of interest to practice area or to a particular client. Enter client time in Intapp and overtime in RollCall on a daily basis. Should have Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years’ litigation paralegal experience required. Should have general knowledge of judicial process. General knowledge of Congress and Executive branch of government is required. Should have general knowledge of government process, especially government agencies involved in practice area. Trial experience strongly preferred. Experience with large document collections and productions preferred. Proficiency with Lexis/Courtlink, Westlaw, PACER/ECF and Bluebook is required. Should have strong computer skills including word processing, E-mail, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Power Point, Databases. Experience with e-Discovery, i.e. Relativity and IPRO strongly preferred. General knowledge of research tools, such as special legal and/or government agency data bases and the Internet to obtain required information and documents is required.
