Legal Secretary - IP Patent Prosecution The candidate must have strong organizational skills and provides support to a team of attorneys, paralegals, and patent secretaries, performing complex and specialized secretarial and clerical support activities related to patent prosecution. Responsibilities include monitoring patent prosecution dockets; assisting with the preparation and filing of US and PCT patent applications; handling US and foreign patent prosecution matters including US, PCT and foreign prosecution forms; electronic filing with USPTO and private PAIR; preparing a variety of documents including assignments, IDSs, transmittals, and formal USPTO documents, as required; and performing secretarial functions associated with administrative tasks including time and expense reports. High school diploma or equivalent is essential. 3+ years of recent prior patent prosecution legal secretarial experience required. Specialized secretarial degree, associate and/or bachelor’s degree desirable.
