Administrative Assistant Duties: Provides secretarial and administrative support to Associate General Counsel for Global Supply Chain, Global Sourcing and Information Technology and International Trade and other attorneys and paralegals; directing and screening telephone calls; typing letters, memos and other legal documents from handwritten drafts and emails; scheduling travel and handling expense reports; sorting, filing and retrieving legal documents and files; contacting clients, as necessary; running SAP reports; processing bills and outside legal fees; preparing annual budget; capable of file management; archiving process/document retention and work on highly confidential matters. Administrative Assistant expected to work closely with Service of Process paralegal relating to receipt and organization of legal process by department.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: College degree preferred with 5 years experience as an administrative assistant. Must have 5+ years’ experience working in a legal or closely related professional office department/environment. Must be able to work in harmony with others. Must have very strong computer skills and be proficient using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Strong grammar skills required. Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to follow through to completion on projects and processes. Must be able to handle confidences. Must be able to work in a fast paced, high energy office environment using multitask skills. Must have working knowledge of general legal processes and terminology. Must be willing to learn new legal processes.
