Temporary Legal Secretary The candidate will provide temporary support to attorneys in a team environment. Will prepare correspondence and legal documents. Organize file materials. Facilitate appeals process. Manage calendars and telephone calls. Schedule meetings and make travel arrangements. Communicate with professional clients, counsel and courts. Must have 5+ years of experience as a legal secretary in an insurance defense firm. Should have prior experience with litigation processes. Medical malpractice and appeals experience is preferred. Should be proficient with MS Word and Outlook. Strong proofreading and editing skills are needed. Should have willingness and ability to perform additional tasks as required. Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts is essential. Omega practice management software experience a plus.
